Greetings:

The Mid-January, February and March Newsletter is now posted and ready for your review. This is a different approach to the usual we will be doing this or have done that newsletter but is also filled with a “Meet Your Officers” edition. We hope that you enjoy knowing who the men are that are leading your lodge and some of their goals for their masonic journey. The Master, Worshipful Brother Alan Kopnicky, has many plans for the lodge and all are centered around fun, fellowship and the fraternity. We know that his enthusiasm will prove to be contagious and his goals will be exceeded as his plans are met.

See you in Lodge!

On Monday evening, November 24th we were honored to have Most Worshipful Brother Steven E. Cokonougher to install WB Alan Kopnicky and his officers for the coming year. He also presented WB Delbert Mohrman with his 60 year pin. Delbert is a 50+ year Past Master and remains a pillar in the lodge. There were too many good friends in attendance to mention. Good Food, good fellowship, and good friends! What more could anyone ask for?

Murder Mystery Dinner Update

June 1st, 2014

We are very pleased to report that the Murder Mystery Dinner held in conjunction with the Wellington Eagles was a success. Several people determined who killer was, including this author, but there was only one winner; Chris Botson. The support shown for our Silent Auction was evident by the many signatures trying to make those special purchases. Thanks to everyone for that support. The Lodge activities committee chairman, Alan Kopnicky and our Worshipful Master, Brian Hurst wish to express their deepest appreciation for your support and participation in this event. Watch for new fun opportunities.

2014 Chili Cook-Off

April 27th, 2014

A great turn-out lead to another successful Chili Cook-off. Nine entries competed for the coveted Master’s Award. The 2014 recipient is Scott Markel. Other Awards were the “Most Unusual” to Vickie Vonczonig for her Pizza Chili and the ‘Most Spicy” went to Jim Smith for his creatively tasty entry. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to sample their way through lunch. All proceeds from this event will go into our Widows fund where we know it will be placed to good use. If you weren’t able to be with us today perhaps next year you will help support our widows fund Chili Cook-off. Our next event is the Murder Mystery Dinner “Death at Dodge City” scheduled for May 30th at the Wellington Eagles Club.
